Favourite childhood memory?

I loved playing in my mum's garden. My best friend and I used to catch skinks and build them new homes for the day out of cardboard boxes. With my sisters and neighbours we would build cubbies down the back of the property and play by the creek. Sometimes I get to do these things as an adult now too thanks to my sister being a gardener :)

Favourite season?

The Indigenous season Luk! Eel season. My birthday is the first day of the season in March.

Favourite sound?

Magpies and Currawongs singing in the morning!

Favourite object?

My house is full of trinkets I collect from flea markets. A recent favourite is a tiny antique comb that is wooden, painted red, and covered in little silver flower sequins.

Who inspires you?

After seeing her work at documenta festival, Małgorzata Mirga-Tas keeps returning to inspire my art practice. Her wall size fabric collages look like paintings, and are made from well-loved and well-worn clothing.
