Enikő Eged
Enikő Eged is a Budapest-based illustrator and artist whose work blends hand-crafted textures with digital play to create warm, spirited worlds. Inspired by emotion, memory, and the beauty of everyday moments, her pieces feel both thoughtful and full of life.
With a background in literature, philosophy, and graphic design, Enikő brings a storytelling lens to everything she creates. She moves seamlessly between mediums — from pastels and paint to digital tools — layering colour, texture, and feeling into each artwork.
For Enikő, creating is a way to explore, reflect, and find joy in the little things — turning quiet inspiration into something vibrant and alive.

Favourite childhood memory?
Endless games with my younger brother. We mostly played with toy horses and dinosaurs. I loved the feeling of how a small room or apartment, with its furniture, could turn into a magical place with endless fields, waterfalls, and cliffs to climb. I love being in that memory.
Favourite season?
I am a summer kid, born in July, and my absolute favourites are the warm, sunny months <3
Favourite sound?
The sound of a horse grazing :) eating grass or hay.
Favourite object?
My all-time favourites are Frida Kahlo, Baya Mahieddine, and Maria Prymachenko.
Who inspires you?
My all-time favourites are Frida Kahlo, Baya Mahieddine, and Maria Prymachenko.
What’s the best part about collaborating with Halcyon Nights?
This is my first children’s clothing collaboration! As I’m expecting a baby later this year, it feels like such a lovely coincidence.
