Favourite childhood memory?

Visiting Fairy Park, Australia’s first themed park, when I was about 4. It was equal parts weird and enchanting, and probably shaped my curiosity for the world of fairytale and all things whimsy more than I realise.

Favourite season?

Spring! Give me all the butterflies, blooms, birds and bugs!

Favourite sound?

My kids’ laughs! Joyous and contagious.

Favourite object?

Anything my 5 year old draws or paints becomes my new favourite thing.

Who inspires you?

All the closest people to me. I’ve got a lot of creative people in my life. Also, drawing with my kids is one of my favourite practices to find inspiration for making art.

What’s the best part about collaborating with Halcyon Nights?

A Halcyon Nights onesie was one the first things I purchased when I found out I was pregnant with my son, over 5 years ago. I was drawn to their pieces because of their joyous illustrations. Now I get to contribute my own bit of joy! Working with them has been a such a magic full-circle moment!
